Our RETRACTABLE AUTOMATIC HIGH SECURITY BOLLARD systems meet the stringent K12 U.S. DoS K12 standard. These bollards will withstand the impact of a 15,000 lb vehicle traveling at a nominal speed of 50 MPH and allow less than one meter of penetration. These bollard systems are designed to operate in the most adverse weather conditions under constant operation. They can be manually operated from a guard station or automatically operated by existing access control systems and can be rapidly triggered in the case of an emergency.

RETRACTABLE MANUALLY-ASSISTED HIGH SECURITY BOLLARDS are an optimum solution in areas where occasional access for vehicles is needed in high-value vulnerable areas and/or very low traffic volume. With the same K12/Pass stopping power of the RETRACTABLE AUTOMATIC HIGH SECURITY BOLLARD systems, able to prevent more than 1 meter of penetration through a barrier from a 15,000 lb vehicle traveling at 50 mph, this system is appropriate in remote locations. The pneumatic-assist system allows almost any adult to easily lift and retract the bollards while maintaining the ultimate in vehicle access control perimeter defense.
